MURAL PRICING

Talking about pricing is pretty taboo in this industry but we like transparency here so let’s dive in!

Long story short, my murals are always priced made on size of the surface to paint. So the bigger the wall, the more expensive the mural!

I set an all-inclusive rate per square foot and that’s how you can get a flat price for the entirety of the work upfront.

The alternative would be to price my murals by the hour of work but we all know how hard it is to estimate how long a project is going to take. I still give you an estimated time for the whole project but whether I finish the project on time or need an extra day, the price remain the same for you (if you have a strict deadline please communicate it and I will do my best to finish the mural within that time frame).

Ok so now that we have laid the basis, what’s included in that all-inclusive rate?

• Design time

Where the magic happens. Making your vision into a piece of artwork takes time.

On average, I take 10 hours from the first conversation about the design to a finish piece that both works for you and me.

• Supplies

I provide all the paint, brushes, drop cloth, ladder and more so you don’t have to worry about any of that.

What supplies are not included in the upfront price?

Special supplies like scissor lifts, travel to and front the site (if in another state than CO). If special supplies are required for the project, they will be part of an additional cost that we can discuss.

• Correspondence time

I love discussing about the project with you so you get the mural of your dreams. Emailing back and forth takes time and depending on how involved you want to be in the process that time can vary greatly. I appreciate both fully hands off clients and fully involved ones, and of course anything in between :)

• Level of details of the art work

There is so many ways to paint the same idea and my style is flexible with it’s level of details. More details = more design time, more paint, more supplies, more paint time. Although the price does vary with the amount of detail, I am very open to talking about design options that fit your budget.
